It Never Ends

Well the last month has not been any easier than my last post. Mark, Jackson & I had a bout with the stomach flu. Mark and I also got a TERRIBLE sore throat that was MUCH worse than the strep. I think Paxton and Sarah had it to some degree with yucky runny noses (yet again) but who knows if their throats hurt that bad?? Both of these were passed onto the poor Williams when they visited us. Jackson spent much of the Gunson Reunion throwing up all night, while Lucas got a fever and fell asleep in the middle of the day. Sarah crashed on the OttoScoot and cut her forehead open. Luckily Mark, Bob & Sharon used their medical prowess to glue it together with NuSkin. A few days later she fell into the car door face first and gave herself a black eye and a purple line down the side of her face. Paxton has yet another double ear infection and is trying one last round of antibiotics before the doctor recommends tubes in his ears. Yesterday Bennett was standing on a little stool next to me. He fell off and it flipped over and onto my ankle with such force I thought it was broken. (Thankfully it just seems to be nasty bruise.) To top it off, Sarah pulled Paxton down last night onto the sharp corner of a wooden toy and put a nasty hole in his forehead. No husband around, naked kids just out of the bath, blood, screaming baby -- so much fun. Luckily Brent was already on his way over for a "playdate" with Jackson so he stayed to babysit. Jackson did an awesome job getting the other kids into bed. Mark was able to hurry home and go to the ER with me. So by midnight, all was calm again with 5-6 stitches in little Pax's head.

Do you think we'll ever catch a break?
PS Amanda, just so you feel better about Katherine haircutting, Bennett also cut a big chunk of hair out of the top of his head, tried to deny it and then tried to blame it on Sarah. He also drew all over the refrigerator with a marker while I was asleep. And did "artwork" with hydrocortisone all over his room. Just to name a few... Gotta love 'em! ;)
