Soccer has taken over our lives!

Our life has been taken over by soccer. With both Jackson and Bennett playing, we go to practice or games Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Mark is coaching Bennett's team which is overall totally wonderful but has its challenges. (Sometimes it's hard for a 5-year-old to understand that Dad is the coach for all the kids, not just you, and that you can't always be on the field with your best friend. He's learning. The second game was much better than the first.)
Mark had me make a (last-minute) team flag so that his team could find him in the throngs of kindergartners on the field. (I was so glad to have the cub scout flag pole in the garage.)

Mark has two groups of kids playing 3-on-3 at the same time. The first game (after only one practice) was a little challenging. He did a fantastic job!
Go Eagles!

Jackson showed some great hussle in his game on Saturday. We were all glad it started a little later this week and that the rain held off until almost the end.
I love that the boys are playing sports and getting good exercise and learning team work, yada-yada-yada. But I am also holding my breath a little until the craziness is over. We may go back to just swimming lessons after this season is over!
